Here's an article about the push for greater freedom to off babies in already euthenasia-happy Holland While in some cases killing a severely deformed bub may seem at first to be an act of kindness (or at least non-cruelty) I agree with this writer's argument that there is a "slippery slope" at play here. It's very similar to the Terri Schiavo case. That is, if you take the feeding tube from her, then who cops it next? The term "persistent vegetative state" could easily describe many people, including this well known dolt (photographed after his nanny just wiped the dribble from his lips). Why not euthenase him (and his ferndie followers while you're at it)? Would be a great relief to many in this country - not to mention an excellent way to stop a major drain on the public purse ... |
