Yesterday former Gitmo detainee and terror suspect Mamdouh Habib addressed a gathering of shrieking hippies. As the article states he said: "I love Australia, I love people in Australia, I love all Australians because you are all of my family." Who does he think he is, Jeff Fenech? Call me cynical, but somehow I just can't quite believe ol' Mamdouh when he says this. (I mean, hell, I wouldn't even say that about my fellow Aussies. And I don't even think that most of them are infidels.) That said, if he is being genuine and he really does love this country and its people, I doubt very much the feeling is reciprocated. |
