Just a quick note to mention a great TV show called The First 48. It's a reality show covering homicide cases in various US cities. Watching the hard-bitten, hard-working detectives try and track down then nail the scum-sucking "perps" in the crucial two days and nights after the crime is committed is absolutely fascinating. |

I've watched this show a number of times over the season. It makes one realize how important those first two days are, and how hard the police work towards solving violent crimes.
