So Sir Elton John has verbally flipped the bird at John Howard. Our restrained PM will no doubt respond in a dignified fashion, or not at all. It's at times like these I'd prefer to see a more combative, colourful reply just for the sheer entertainment value of it. Imagine if Mark Latham were now our leader, for instance: Elton John: "Up yours!" Prime Minister: "Oh, go fuck yourself you silly poof." Pity he's not still around to liven things up, eh? |
