Via Tim Blair I learn that Al Gore has claimed smoking is a significant contributor to global warming. The scenarios Gore describes are nightmarish enough to make any sane person a little skeptical. But pointing to smoking as a cause? That's out there even for a full-on ferndie! I hope this will make some of his more enthusiastic supporters a bit more restrained. (Doubt that it will, but.) Apparently he made some other outlandish claims at the same time. |
