This story is fairly old now, but I thought I'd link to it anyway ...

Basically a bunch of ultra-PC blowhards are desperately offended because one of Philadelphia's most famous steakhouses asks its patrons to order in English. 

I love this bit: 

Juntos, a Hispanic neighborhood organization, said it plans to send people to Geno's to try to order in Spanish and may pursue court action, depending on what happens.

People going out of their way to be offended.  Doesn't that just sum up the puerility of political correctness? 

Three Gitmo inmates have died by their own hands.  Fluffs will surely use this as more evidence of US brutality.  Yet they're also snarky about the military trying to keep prisoners alive. Here's the last paragraph in the same story:

Physicians for Human Rights has called on the United States to halt the "brutal and inhumane force-feeding tactics." U.S. officials have said the measures are "safe and humane" and have been used in American civilian prisons.

Seppos just can't win, can they? 

Crikey!  This really is the land down under.  Everything's the exact inverse of what happens in the northern hemisphere. 

Up in the Old Dart, some brazen old pollie called George Galloway made a right tit (or should that be left tit?) of himself on reality TV.  Now, down here, a young rottie-for-the-spottie called David Oldfield is about to do the same thing.
